On "Going Galt" (Or What Passes for it)

My first thought when I read about people wanting to go Galt in protest of the marginal tax rate increase on incomes above $250,000 was cool; these people are going to seceed from our society, build their own from scratch, and show us how to build a modern civilization with low taxes and no/minimal government overhead. I look forward to reading about how they accomplished such a difficult task. Imagine my disappointment when I read that what they actually meant by going Galt was not work quite so much, take up golfing, and write passive-aggressive notes to waitresses in lieu of tipping them. Ayn Rand would be so proud.
